Swedish Graduation, Games 3 &4, relaxing at the lake

Two girls from our team, My and Gabriella, brought Taylor and me into town to see the Swedish Graduation Celebration. All of the highschool graduates paraded through town on trucks, on foot, and then in cars. The graduates celebrate the entire day! It was really neat to see. I took some pictures of the parade:
They wear hats that look like captain hats - they have their name, graduation year, and the name of the school that they attended sewn into the hat
the parents held signs with a picture of their graduate - most of them were baby pictures
Gabriella, My, and Taylor watching the parade
After we saw the graduation we walked around town and went into the main church. It was very pretty!

Yesterday we played Leksand. We lost the first game 3-2 in the 8th inning. I pitched and did pretty well. It was a really good fight, but we came up short. The second game we won 29-18...no, that was not a typo! We ended up run ruling them in the 6th after 3hours of playing. Their pitcher could not throw strikes and we ended up walking around the bases. Throughout the day I had some singles, walks, and some RBIs.

Today was a really fun day! There was beautiful weather so Taylor, Jonna, and I went to the lake. Jonna is a girl on our team; she played softball in California but she is originally from Sweden. The lake was so relaxing; and since the sun is up for so long, we were able to sunbathing from 2-5pm! Gotta love Sweden in the summer!
